At Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors, we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2012, we’ve been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors, we are committed to a single goal; we strive to make the world a better place. Explore our website to learn more about all that we’re doing to make a change. We are a private, non-profit organization dedicated to finding volunteers to help those in need to overcome challenges while developing meaningful relationships with them.
Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors believe that families that have uncontrollable events in life and need just a little help should still be able to succeed in Life!
Our Mission is to form an Organization that will provide the necessary means for families, elderly seniors, and school children such as clothes, shoes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, paper towels. Also detergent, bath soap, shampoo, lotions, bandages and many other toiletries that are necessary for all families to have a fair chance of survival in times when there is no other support for them! Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors will not tolerate the astronomical number of children that are failing and are treated indifferently because their parents are not able to purchase or find a facility to help by providing the materials needed for the children to participate in science fairs and many other events. Many families cannot afford to purchase necessary school supplies which would ensure the children a fair opportunity to grow, flourish, excel and make their childhood dreams come true. Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors by donating school supplies to an entire school of (287) children's at Bastrop Magnum School in Bastrop, Louisiana, (56) children in Brenham, Texas, (54) children in Navasota, Texas, (58) children in Houston, Texas and (16) children in Beaumont & Orange, Texas. We donated backpacks, printers, laptops, tablets, calculators, notebook paper, pencils, glue and every item necessary to complete the entire school year for each child. Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors has donated school supplies to over (750) children in the last five (5) years for our annual “Back to School Event”; on August 16, 2015, we provided school supplies for (76) children. August 13, 2016, we provided school supplies for (85) children, on August 19, 2017, we provided school supplies for (119) children, and on August 18, 2018, we provided (116) children school supplies, backpacks, and lunch kits.
Also, Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors assisted (27) Harvey Families that lost everything because of the flooding waters nothing was left including their homes. When our organization heard that the entire town of Noam, Texas had flooded and was underwater with extremely high waters Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors immediately contacted as many families as we could to find out what was the most needed items to help the families rebuild their lives once again. There were so many items badly needed therefore our organization purchased everything we possibly could to assist. We purchased four (4) complete washer and dryer sets, living room furniture, bedroom furniture, mattresses, lamps, rugs, small kitchen appliances (rice cookers, air fryers, blenders), sheets, comforters, towel sets, doors (bedroom) pots, pans, four (4) televisions, two (2) PS4 gaming machines, five (5) Laptops, twenty (20) Amazon Fire Tablets, eight (8) bunk beds with eight (8) mattresses, pillows and blankets. There were so many more families we wanted to help at that time but could not. Since that time Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors has continued to send support to aid the families in Noam, Texas with clothing, shoes, and general supplies.

Also, Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors additional Mission is our “Annual Christmas Caroling, and Winter Wonderland’s Give a Gift” where we give a Gift to everyone who otherwise would not receive a Christmas Gift. We give to all children and families that have suffered tragedies such as loss of employment, illnesses, disasters from flooding, hurricanes, and fires and are not able to purchase educational toys as well as fun toys for their children. Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors each year for the past seven (7) years has given out over 2000 gifts ensuring that Christmas comes for everyone!
My family and I strongly believe that every day is a gift and we make sure that somehow in so way we help someone every day! Big or small, a kind word of hope, or paying for someone lunch or groceries, or issue gift cards to pay bills, etc.

At Generous Hearts Helping Neighbors, we are dedicated to supporting individuals through our various initiatives. With one of our initiatives is providing each child with an equal chance with proper school supplies, we are always striving to make a difference. Whether it is in our community, or one much farther away from home, we know that all in need deserve our help and support.

With our mission always in mind, we work tirelessly to improve the lives of individuals from all walks of life. Displaced families are something that we take very seriously, and work to provide each and every person with day to day needs such as clothes, paper goods blankets, baby supplies, clothes and shoes for children, mattresses, sheets, blankets, towels, detergents, washer & dryers, etc. Our whole team of dedicated Non-Profit Organization experts and volunteers are committed to this cause and will continue to work for a better future.

Our Organization has received grants from Walmart, and Sponsorship donations from Cross Plains Custom Tile, Parkway Chevrolet, Trux SuperStore. We are always will to accept sponsorship of any organization or individual who wishes to give Donations or Contributions! Our future plans are to have Fundraising Drives to expand the outreach of families in need and provide a helping hand in assisting them in getting their life back! We are here to brighten families and children live to have a wonderful Christmas every December. Our event is "Winter Wonderland Every Child deserves a gift" We donate toys, electronics, clothes, shoes, computers, printers, and many other items. Our Events
Annual Toy Drive
November 15th, 2018
This event we collect toys from November 15th-December 18th, 2018. Last year we gave toys for over 250 children who otherwise would not receive anything for Christmas! My goal is to double our efforts this year and give to 500 children. Drop-offs will be set up around the community for donations. We will announce the exact locations in November 2018. Thank you!
Thanksgiving Dinners for the Community
